RBR Motorsports to Team with Rogers for 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Team

RBR Motorsports announced today they will compete in a limited schedule in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) with driver, Clay Rogers, behind the wheel. Rogers will pilot the #92 fleetHQ/BTS Tire & Wheel Distributors Chevrolet Silverado at the Daytona International Speedway to kick off the 2011 NASCAR Season on February 18th.

Clay Rogers, born November 6, 1980 in Mooresville, NC, holds 4 USAR Procup Championships (2004, 2006, 2009 and 2010). He has competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series. Clay has raced for nearly 20 years, visiting Victory Lane well over 125 times in a career in which he’s won championships in the WKA, Allison Legacy Series, USAR Pro Cup, and is the current defending national champion of the USAR Pro Cup Series. Rogers is teaming with the RBR Enterprises team to compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for 2011. This marks Clay’s first return to the Trucks Series since 2009 and his debut at Daytona under race conditions. RBR will be entering their sophomore season in the Truck Series and will be looking to improve on the great start they got in 2010. Clay is coming off another banner season. Last year he won 50 percent of the races with 7 wins and led over 1600 laps. He is looking to continue that momentum with the RBR Team.

RBR Motorsports is headquartered in Cerro Gordo, NC and has been racing since the early 1990s.

“We are extremely excited to team up with Clay to compete in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Ricky Benton, RBR Team Owner. “We have known and raced around Clay for many years and know first-hand that he has the talent to go to the next level. We feel we have a winning combination with Clay and our crew chief, Michael Hester. There is a heightened sense of excitement now that we have put this deal together.”

RBR will continue to market fleetHQ as a marketing partner sponsor for the #92 entry. fleetHQ is a business solutions provider for commercial trucking fleets and servicing tire dealers all across North America. fleetHQ provides 24-hour support, and helps fleets reduce operating cost while making it easier to do business.

BTS Tire & Wheel Distributors will continue to serve as an associate sponsor. BTS Tire & Wheel Distributors offers wholesale distribution services to tire and automotive dealers across the Southeast. BTS operates mostly in North and South Carolina.
