Timothy Peters Red Horse Racing: Iowa Race Advance

This Week’s No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra at Iowa Speedway… Timothy Peters will be piloting chassis No. 010 in the American Ethanol 200 presented by Enogen at Iowa Speedway on Friday, July 11. This is the same chassis he drove to a first-place finish at Iowa Speedway in July of 2013. This will be the first time that Peters has competed with chassis 010 in 2014.

 

Peters’ History at Iowa Speedway… Peters returns to Iowa Speedway after capturing back-to-back checkered flags in the July NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, becoming the only Truck Series driver to own multiple wins at the Newton, Iowa race track. . In seven starts at Iowa Speedway, Peters has collected two wins, two top-five and three top-10 finishes. He has an average starting position of 7.3 and average finish of 11.3.

 

Race Rewind: Kentucky Speedway… Timothy Peters drove the No. 17 Toyota Tundra to a fourth-place finish in the UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway the last time the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competed. This was his fourth top-five finish of the 2014 season. Peters moved to third in the championship point standings, 11 points behind the leader.

 

Off-Weekend for the Truck Series, But Not For Peters… Although the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series had the Holiday Weekend off, Timothy Peters still spent his time at the race track. Peters competed in the Mr. & Mrs. Maresca of St. Lawrence Radiology Presents Thunder Road Harley Davidson NASCAR Late Model 200 at South Boston Speedway on Thursday, July 3, where he finished fifth.
