Tyler Reddick Gateway Post-Race

Tyler Reddick @TylerReddick), driver of the No. 19 Draw-Tite Ford F-150, scored a 13th place finish in Saturday night’s Drivin’ Ford Lineman 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park.

Reddick’s day began with a solid performance in qualifying.  He advanced to the third and final round and earned the seventh place starting position among the final 12 drivers.  Even more impressive was the fact that Reddick made an extra run in the second session overcoming the track’s worn and abrasive surface.

On the initial start of the race Reddick experienced mechanical problems that left him with only fourth gear for nearly the entire race.  Reddick and the team fought through those issues to post a respectable 13th place finish on the lead lap and ran lap times comparable to the leaders during much of the race.

One additional highlight for Reddick was the fact led the race once for two laps, the first time he has led a lap in six career NCWTS starts.

Cequent Performance Products hosted approximately 200 guests at Saturday’s race, many from www.ETrailer.com which also served as an associate sponsor on the No. 19 Ford F-150.
