The Providence, North Carolina, native started from the second position in 2012 (June) when rain forced the cancellation of qualifying and the field was set per the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series owner’s point standings.

Media Availability for Peters at Texas… The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Points Leader will be available for questions in the Texas Motor Speedway infield media center on Thursday, June 13 at 4:15 p.m. local time.

Race Rewind: Dover International Speedway… Peters wheeled his No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra to a 10th-place finish at Dover International Speedway after battling loose-handling conditions throughout the race. He left the Dover, Delaware race track as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series point standings leader.

TIMOTHY PETERS QUOTES:

On leading the points heading to Texas Motor Speedway… “I’m really happy to be back in the points lead, I think staying consistent like we have been is going to be the most important thing for us as a team. We’ve created some great momentum and we’ll be looking to continue that trend this weekend.”

On heading to Texas Motor Speedway… “I want to do well at every track we visit, but Texas [Motor Speedway] is one of the places where I’m looking to do really well. I’d really like to get the results column a little better there. I feel really encouraged heading to Texas after our top-five finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway, another 1.5-mile race track.”
