Dillon To Give Rides Around Bristol To Ticket Holders July 5th

It isn’t very often that race fans have the chance to ride shotgun with a NASCAR driver around the high-banks at Bristol Motor Speedway. On Tuesday, July 5, however, RCR’s Austin Dillon will be on hand to provide that very opportunity.

Dillon, who pilots the famous black No. 3 Bass Pro Shops machine in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, will give rides in a street truck to fans who purchase tickets on July 5 for any event taking place during the upcoming August race weekend, including the IRWIN Tools Night Race, the Food City 250 and the O’Reilly Auto Parts 200/UNOH Perfect Storm 150 doubleheader.

Not only will he give rides around BMS, Dillon will sign autographs, work the phones in the ticket office and meet with fans who drop by the Bruton Smith Building on Tuesday afternoon. He is scheduled to meet with fans from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dillon will give rides as his schedule allows.

In addition to Dillon and his No. 3 truck, the Bass Pro Shops transporter also will be at BMS.

Dillon’s trip to Bristol will be extra special this year as he is featured in a unique ticket package which includes a ticket to the August 24 doubleheader, a special No. 3 Bass Pro Shops hat and an exclusive Q & A session with the driver in the BMS Hospitality Village prior to the event, all for just $33.

With a special ticket promotion named after him, Dillon is ready to meet with his Bristol fans.

“Truck series races at Bristol are exciting and some of the toughest we have,” Dillon explained, “so it’s an honor to have a ticket package named after me there, because that’s what I like—tough racing.”

“Our shop is less than three hours from Bristol, and we get a lot of support from the whole area, so I hope everyone comes out to sit in the Austin Dillon section on August 24. I also can’t wait to hang out and talk with fans during the Q & A session before the race.”
