Tyler Reddick Martinsville Post-Race

Tyler Reddick (@TylerReddick), driver of the No. 19 Broken Bow Records Ford F-150, made his first career Martinsville Speedway start for Brad Keselowski Racing (BKR) on Sunday evening during the 16th annual Kroger 250.

Reddick rolled off the starting grid in the 17th position based on practice speed. On lap 34 the caution waved for a spin, and Crew Chief Doug Randolph took the opportunity to call the Broken Bow Records Ford F-150 to pit road for four tires, fuel and a major track bar adjustment. Reddick entered pit road in the 24th position and left in 18th place after an excellent stop by the 19 pit crew.

Reddick raced with skill against NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) veterans in the middle portion of the race. When the caution waved on lap 123 Reddick was happy with his Ford, and Randolph elected to stay out to maintain 17th place track position.

Another caution was called on lap 228 and Reddick pitted for four sticker tires. Through multiple green-white-checkered finishes Reddick was able to bring the Broken Bow Records Ford F-150 home relatively unscathed in 16th place.

The No. 19 BKR team currently sits 13th in the unofficial NCWTS owner points standings, 22 points back from first. Joey Logano returns to the Reese Towpower Ford F-150 at the next NCWTS stop in Kansas on May 9th.

The Broken Bow Records BKR team did an excellent job preparing for this race. Today was a great learning experience at Martinsville, which is such a unique and technical track. I’m looking forward to taking what we learned today and applying it to the October race.” – Tyler Reddick
