Quiroga is optimistic on his return

After a month of inactivity in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the engines will roar again this Saturday, March 29th, at Martinsville Speedway, where Mexican driver German Quiroga will be on the Kroger 200.

At Bovada sportsbook you can see the odds for this and all NASCAR races during the season. Johnny Sauter and Timothy Peters (5/1) are the favorites to win at Martinsville, while Quiroga is on the twelfth place of the list (20/1).

The Mexican driver comes after a good performance in Daytona. It was a very difficult race for him because he started way back. “I’m still excited about the outcome of Daytona; I think it’s a great start for this season. We are in the seventh place of the championship and we want more”, said Quiroga.

The oval where the race will take place is the Martinsville Speedway, better known as the “Paperclip” because of its tight corners and relatively long straights. It is not an unknown place for the driver of Red Horse Racing, who had two very good performances there last year. Quiroga has had the opportunity to practice these days in the Virginia oval.

“It’s a track very similar to the short tracks of Mexico and I adapted very quickly. My goal in this race is to get my first top five of the season. We should not get distracted from the championship and for that you have to finish every race in the top 10 and be constantly in the top-5, so we have a lot of work to do. “

The main sponsor in Martinsville will be NET10 Wireless, the first company to support the Mexican driver in the United States (2012). Quiroga won three championships and two second places in the last five years in Mexico.

“I am very happy to continue the relationship with NET10 Wireless, they were the first to trust in me and help me with my career in USA, and hopefully I can get them a win soon. I want to thank the people who have supported me since I decided to immigrate to the United States to follow my dream.”
