Ryan Blaney Martinsville Preview

Ryan Blaney (@RyanBlaney22), driver of the No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150, will make his fourth career start at Martinsville Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) during the Kroger 250 on Saturday afternoon.

With a strong season start at Daytona where he finished 6th, Blaney hopes to keep the momentum going to continue his great track record at Martinsville. He has finished in the top 10 at this track on several occasions.

Blaney enters the weekend 4th in driver points, only 5 points behind the leader.

The Cooper Standard truck returns to their traditional paint scheme this week after launching the CareersForVeterans.org program at Daytona. Chad Kendrick will also return to the pit box for his second race as Crew Chief for Blaney.

“I’m more than ready to get back behind the wheel of my Cooper Standard Ford F-150. I had a chance to race Bristol for Team Penske in the Nationwide Series but it’s still been a while since my last race due to the schedule.  I feel like I’ve had an opportunity to win at Martinsville the past several trips there, and hope to close the deal this time around,” Blaney said.
