Red Horse Racing Adds Brian Ickler to the 2014 Driver Lineup

Brian Ickler returns to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition in 2014 behind the wheel of Red Horse Racing’s No. 7 Bullet Liner Toyota Tundra.

“I am really glad to be back in the Camping World Truck Series and driving for Red Horse Racing,” Ickler said. “The Truck Series is a lot of fun to race in and the competition this year will be great. Thank you to Bullet Liner for coming on board with us. I am anxious to get back on track in the new Toyota Tundra and get them and Bullet Liner to Victory Lane.”

Bullet Liner will serve as a primary sponsor on the No. 7 Tundra. Bullet Liner has a rich history in protective coatings and is committed to producing the highest quality coating on the market today. With currently over 200 dealers, Bullet Liner is looking to continue to grow its network. Their products are primarily used for pickup truck beds, tailgates, wheel wells and other similar vehicle protection applications. “We are excited to be involved in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,” said Burtin Polymer Laboratories President H.D. “Scooter” DeLaune. “As with our industry leading products, we have chosen Red Horse Racing and Brian Ickler to help promote our brand. We look forward to getting our newest brand out there. The intent is to bring public awareness to Bullet Liner products as well as the numerous other polyurethane products that we manufacture. Our dealership network is the catalyst for success and hopefully we can get our dealers, as well as prospective customers, excited about Bullet Liner Spray-on bed protection. Our dealers are professionally trained to install Bullet Liner applications. Hopefully we can win a few races as well; that would be an added bonus.”

Ickler has 22 career starts in the Camping World Truck Series under his belt, with six top-five and 10 top-10 finishes and a pole award at Michigan International Speedway (June 2009). The 28-year-old also has eight NASCAR Nationwide Series starts to his name. Ickler cut his teeth off-road racing when he was 14 years old. By the age of 17, he was named the SCORE Rookie of the Year, Lite champion, and has victories in the SCORE Baja 1000, Baja 500, and San Felipe 250. The Poway, Calif., native has collectively made 43 starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series (East and West divisions), earning seven wins and five pole awards.

The Camping World Truck Series kicks off the 2014 season at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, with the green flag for the NextEra Energy Resources 250 scheduled  for 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
