Miguel Paludo NCWTS Preview: Texas Motor Speedway II

Hold ‘Em Or Fold ‘Em…The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) for the second Texas showdown of 2013. Miguel Paludo has six previous starts at the 1.5-mile quad-oval, earning his best finish of eighth in the spring 2011 event. Paludo, who has three top-10 finishes at TMS, finished 10th when the series visited in the spring.

A Sweet New Paint Scheme…The No. 32 Chevrolet will carry a sweet new scheme when it unloads at Texas Motor Speedway with the Turner Scott Motorsports debut of Anderson’s Maple Syrup and Brookshire’s. In 1928, Paul Anderson first shared the distinct taste of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, delicately sweet pure maple syrup.  Three generations later, the Anderson family carries on its sugar-making heritage.  They bottle pure maple syrup from the same sugarbush their grandfather tapped so many years ago.  Authentic pure maple syrup is a nutritious and natural alternative to artificial maple-flavored syrups.  From its roots in Cumberland, Wisconsin, Anderson’s Maple Syrup can now be found in supermarkets and specialty shops across the country. For more information and to find more recipes and grilling ideas, visit www.AndersonsMapleSyrup.com.

Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is a Tyler, Texas-based regional food chain that has been providing families with quality foods since 1928. They are committed to outstanding service, knowing that the customer is their top priority. Their goal is to proactively live their corporate mission statement – to provide a great food and shopping experience – and hope you rely on them to meet the needs of your family.  BGC currently operates more than 150 store locations under the banners of Brookshire’s Food Stores, Super 1 Foods Stores, Olé Foods, and FRESH by Brookshire’s. For more information, visit www.brookshires.com.

This Week’s Silverado…Paludo and the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team will unload chassis TSM-600 this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. TSM-600 made its on-track debut at TMS in the spring, and was raced most recently at Las Vegas Motor Speedway where it earned a third-place finish. TSM-600 was the chassis of choice at six previous events this year and has not finished worse than 12th.

Pick Me…The polls are still open for the 2013 NCWTS Most Popular Driver fan vote. Fans can vote once a day from each device: laptop, desktop, tablet, smart phone, etc. Be sure to place your vote for Paludo every day from now until November 15 at www.nascar.com/ncwtsmpd.

Watch And Listen…The WinStar World Casino 350 can be seen live on Friday, November 1 with pre-race coverage beginning at 8:00 p.m. EDT on FOX Sports 1. Paludo will be carrying an on-board camera, so be sure to tune in for all the action. The race can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap…Paludo made it through a wreck-filled race at Martinsville Speedway, ending the day with one of the few trucks to not sustain major damage. However, losing a lap early in the event and a mid-race spin hurt the No. 32 AccuDoc Solutions team, and by the time Paludo regained his lap, there were only enough laps remaining to salvage a 21st-place finish.

Miguel Paludo on driving at Texas Motor Speedway

“Texas is a place where I have a lot of experience and it’s one of my favorite places that we visit all year. The mile-and-a-half tracks are races I feel really good going into; we’ve been so strong at them all season. The chassis we’re bringing is one of our new-generation trucks, which are really good. This one has gotten me two top fives, and we’re hoping to better that second-place finish we got with it at Pocono. I’m really excited to have Anderson’s Maple Syrup and Brookshire’s on board with us this weekend; I’d love to get them into victory lane in their first race with us.”
