Previous Race RecapReturning to his hometown track for a second time in the 2013 NCWTS season, Burton fought hard to achieve a top-five finish in the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway. The 21-year-old South Boston, Va. native was among the top-ten fastest trucks during both practice sessions, as well as qualifying, and was able to drive his No. 4 Arrowhead/Kangaroo Express Chevrolet across the finish line in third place.

Jeb Burton on Racing at Texas Motor Speedway:

“I’m really excited about returning to Texas Motor Speedway as the defending race winner. Texas brought several ‘firsts’ for us. It was my first time at the track and we got our first win of the season. We’re taking a brand-new truck this weekend, so we’re putting it all out there to get another win. One of my favorite things about this track is running beside the wall. It makes it fun and more competitive. Hopefully we can make it a sweep and get our No. 4 Arrowhead truck into victory lane again. I want another cowboy hat!”
