Dakoda Armstrong, Turn One Racing Welcome Crew Chief Doug George

Dakoda Armstrong, driver of the No. 60 WinField Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), and officials from Turn One Racing confirmed Monday the addition of veteran crew chief Doug George to the team. Before joining Armstrong and the team at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in August as truck chief,  George most recently served as crew chief for Jason White and the No. 23 NCWTS team in 2012. Accepting the leadership role prior to this weekend’s event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, George brings experience from nine years of NCWTS competition, along with two wins in the series. He will join the No. 60 team and driver Armstrong as crew chief for the remaining six races of the 2013 NCWTS season.

“Our team has gone through a lot of changes this season, but I really feel strongly about the addition of Doug (George) and our chances for the last six races,” Armstrong explained. “He has done a great job with our guys since joining the team in Canada, and I’m really looking forward to just having some strong runs and increase our performance to close out the season.”

Armstrong currently sits 12th in NCWTS driver point standings, 21 points out of 10th.
