James Buescher NCWTS Preview: Chicagoland Speedway

Looking to Repeat…James Buescher and his Rheem team are not only looking to go back- to-back in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) championships, but they are looking to reclaim their throne as the defending race winner at Chicagoland Speedway. In 2012, Buescher and his Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) team came back from two laps down after changing a carburetor to win their third of four victories of the season. Buescher and his TSM team have cut into the series points lead each of the last four weeks and currently sit just 37 points out of first.

Gotta Have A Rheem…TSM welcomes back Rheem to their No. 31 at Chicagoland Speeway. The defending race winner at Chicagoland Speedway will look to bring Rheem their second victory of the season and the team its third. Rheem Manufacturing Company (www.rheem.com) is privately held with headquarters in Atlanta. In its 87th year of operation, the company manufactures a full line of high-quality residential and commercial heating and cooling systems; tank, tankless, solar, and heat pump water heaters; swimming pool heaters and commercial boilers throughout North America and world markets. The company’s premium brands, including Raypak, Ruud and Rheem, have been recognized with countless industry and consumer awards for reliability, innovative design and high quality. Rheem, now in its seventh consecutive year as a NASCAR sponsor, is the official heating, cooling and water heating supplier to TSM and Richard Childress Racing. Rheem also sponsors RCR’s No. 29 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car driven by Kevin Harvick and the No. 33 NASCAR Nationwide Series car driven by Paul Menard.

Chassis Info…After a lot of research and development, the Rheem team will unload a brand new chassis at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend. TSM will debut chassis TSM-603 in hopes of continuing their march to the front of the point standings.

Previous Race Recap…Buescher headed to Iowa Speedway looking to continue to chip away at the series points lead after having done so in the three previous races. Buescher and his TSM team set themselves up for a strong finish with a late-race pit stop that allowed his Exide crew to put on four sticker Goodyear tires and fill the No. 31 Chevrolet Silverado up with fuel. Surviving multiple green/white/checkered attempts, Buescher drove to the lead and never looked back, earning his second victory of the season and his first victory at Iowa Speedway.

Watch and Listen…Buescher and the NCWTS return to Chicagoland Speedway for a Friday evening showdown. The EnjoyIllnois.com 225 can be seen live Friday September 13 on FOX Sports 1. Race coverage will begin at 8:00 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

James Buescher on Winning at Iowa Speedway

I’m really excited about winning at Iowa Speedway, it a track that we’ve been coming to for a long time and haven’t had the best of results. We were finally able to get that monkey off our back and put a “W” in the win column there.”

James Buescher on Returning to Chicagoland Speedway

“I couldn’t be more excited about going back to Chicagoland Speedway, especially coming off a huge win for our Turner Scott Motorsports team last weekend at Iowa Speedway. I think it goes without saying that this style of track falls right into our wheelhouse, and I feel like our Rheem team will be able to come out of here with another solid finish and hopefully our third victory of the season.”
