New SGR Partner Hawk Performance to Sponsor Mike Skeen at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

Sharp-Gallaher Racing announced today that new partner Hawk Performance® will adorn the No. 6 Chevrolet Silverado when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series makes its debut this weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Mike Skeen joins SGR behind the wheel of the No. 6 Hawk Performance Chevrolet, bringing with him road racing expertise and previous hardware won at the Bowmanville, Ontario road course. This weekend’s Chevrolet Silverado 250 marks Skeen’s first start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. 

 

Skeen claimed the pole position and won the last four consecutive races in the Pirelli World Challenge GT Series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. He currently drives the Hawk Performance/CRP Racing Corvette in World Challenge in addition to being a sought-out professional driving instructor. He began racing go karts at the age of 10, progressing through the motorsports ranks, and has victories to his name in the SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge GT Series, Trans-Am, SCORE Baja 1000, NASA, as well as experience in GRAND-AM and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.
