Miguel Paludo NCWTS Preview: Kentucky Speedway

Lucky in Kentucky...The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Kentucky Speedway for the eighth stop of the 2013 season. Miguel Paludo is hoping to get lucky in Kentucky with the first win of his NCWTS career in the Thursday-night show at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval. Paludo led practice in his most recent visit to the Sparta, Ky. track in September before qualifying 12th and finishing eighth. The eighth-place finish bumped Paludo to 10th in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings, where he stayed for the remainder of the season.

After strong practice and qualifying sessions, Paludo remained in the top 10 for a majority of the 167-lap event, leading two laps before bringing home his fourth top-10 finish of the season.

Miguel Paludo on driving at Kentucky Speedway

"I'm really looking forward to Kentucky Speedway this weekend. The No. 32 team has been fast everywhere we've gone this year, especially at the intermediate tracks, and we're able to say that we had a shot to win in a lot of races this year. Going into Kentucky, I feel like we have everything we need to win. We performed really well there last year, we've led practice sessions, qualified well and run up front, and I believe that the No. 32 team is a lot stronger than we were last year. I feel confident that we're going to win this race."
