MB Motorsports returns to TMS with Justin Jennings

MB Motorsports and Justin Jennings head to Texas Motor Speedway for the WinStar Casino 400k with their Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool / LG SEEDS Chevy Silverado for Jennings’ first start at the very fast mile and a half track.

After having mechanical issues, Jennings will start from the back of the pack, as the team decided to replace engines after final practice.  In a show of team dedication, Nick Hoffman, who has driven the #63 MB Motorsports truck in three NCWTS races, drove the new engine from Charlotte to Texas Motor Speedway just make sure the Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool / LG SEEDS Chevy Silverado would be on track when the green flag flies Friday night at 9:15pm EST.

“I can’t say enough about the effort of everyone who helps our little team,” says team owner Mike Mittler.  “Mechanical issues are a part of our sport, you can’t avoid them.  How you respond to them is a test of character and our guys showed what they are made of.  I’m very proud of them.”

“I just want to pick up where we left off in practice,” states a hopeful Jennings.  “We picked up some speed from when we unloaded and I think there’s a lot more in Mittler Brothers / LG SEEDS Chevy.  This is a fast, very fast track and I like it- a lot.  This being our first time here, I want to stay out of trouble, score a good finish and bring the truck home in one piece.  If we do that, we’ll have done alright.”

Mittler has a lot of confidence in young Jennings.  “This is kid is the real deal.  He can drive.  He has great instincts on the track and because he knows how to build the truck he drives, he gives us great feedback so we can make the changes he needs to get the most out of it.”

The WinStar Casino 400k marks the fourth race LG SEEDS, the third largest corn seed company in the US, has partnered with MB Motorsports.  “The folks at LG SEEDS are great to work with,” says Mittler.  “We want to do our best to give Justin everything he needs to make them proud.”
