Jeb Burton NCWTS Preview: Rockingham Speedway

Burton Family Feature...Tune in to 'NCWTS Setup' on SPEED at 1:00 p.m. EDT to catch up with the entire Burton family for a sit-down interview at their home in Halifax, Virginia. Rockingham Speedway is a favorite track of the Burton clan, as father Ward Burton captured his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory in the 1995 AC Delco 400 at the famed North Carolina track. A year ago, Jeb Burton brought home an 11th-place finish in his first and only start at the one-mile oval.

Last Race Recap...Less than a week ago Burton opened eyes and turned heads at Martinsville Speedway. After dominating the weekend's only NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) practice session, the 20-year-old went on to claim his first career pole award, as well as the track qualifying record. After leading 154 laps and earning valuable bonus points, Burton and the No. 4 Arrowhead team brought home a third-place finish, a career best for the Rookie of the Year contender.

Eyes in the Cockpit...Be closer to the action with the No. 4 Arrowhead team during the SPEED broadcast as their Chevy Silverado is equipped with an on-board camera for 200 laps around Rockingham Speedway.

This Week's Silverado...Under the direction of veteran crew chief Mike Hillman Jr., the No. 4 team will utilize chassis TSM-211 this weekend at Rockingham Speedway. This truck is a powerhouse for Turner Scott Motorsports, having made laps in 2012 at Martinsville Speedway, Iowa Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway.

Say Hello...Burton will be joining the rest of the NCWTS field for an autograph session outside the main ticket office on Saturday morning starting at 10:15 a.m. EDT.

Watch and Listen...The North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine can be seen live on Saturday, April 6 on SPEED. Race coverage will begin at 1:30 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Jeb Burton on his Second Start at Rockingham Speedway

"Last weekend was a dream come true for me. Even though I wish I went home with the win, I'm focused on the bigger picture and it was a great points race for my entire team. My dad has a few trophies from Rockingham and I would love to add to that collection. My team and I are equally determined to make this dream a reality."
