Green1 on No. 34 Car at Sonoma

Front Row Motorsports driver David Ragan will be driving the No. 34 Green1 – High Performance Green Car during Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA. The Green1 NASCAR Front Row team sponsorship follows last month’s Green1 Indy Car Racing Series sponsorship of Bryan Herta Autosport driver Alex Tagliani and Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing team standout driver Joseph Newgarden. This is Green1 Environmental Inc.’s first primary sponsorship in NASCAR Sprint Cup series competition.

Sunday’s race at Sonoma will kick off a season-long partnership with Front Row Motorsports. The organization’s three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams use Green1 in their Race Shop in Statesville, NC and will use Green1 trackside at Sonoma Raceway. Green1 is capable of replacing 80% of toxic, hazardous chemicals commonly used in Cup car garages and home race shops.

Green1 EVP, Seth Conger commented, “we believe David Ragan will be a fantastic ambassador to our industry changing technology.” He continued “We chose to sponsor Front Row Motorsports at Sonoma because of the environmental consciousness of the track. Sonoma Raceway has created the Accelerating Sustainable Performance Program, which is grounded in the belief that it is possible to reduce environmental impact without compromising performance.”

David Ragan, driver of the No. 34 Green1 Ford is happy to have another new partner on-board. He commented, “I’m happy to have a high performance, environmentally friendly product on our car this weekend.” He continued, “Green1 is a great fit for our team and for our sport. Our crews use it in the shop during teardown and for a variety of other applications.”
