AJ Allmendinger makes apperance at Kroger Store in Jackson, Michigan

Kroger store #680 welcomes NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver AJ Allmendinger Thursday, August 25th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at 1100 W Argyle Street in Jackson, Michigan to sign autographs for customers and participate in an action-packed event before strapping into his No. 47 Kroger/SCOTT Products Chevrolet SS for the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday afternoon.

“We always have a lot of fun and you can count on that,” Allmendinger said. “Thanks to Kroger, this is a great opportunity to meet fans. Also, there’s a lot of activities for the family no matter your age. Stop by the store and grab an autograph or check out all the activities happening in front of the store as part of Kroger Fan Fest. You can also stock up on groceries and tailgating supplies if you’re coming out to the race or pick up what you need for your home. We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday.” 

The nationwide Kroger Fan Fest is a big hit and customers are invited to come out and join in the festivities that includes Allmendinger’s appearance, interactive exhibits, sampling, couponing and much more.

After meeting his fans, Allmendinger journeys to Michigan International Speedway. In the most recent two events, the San Jose, Calif.-native posted a fourth-place and a ninth-place finish at Watkins Glen International and Bristol Motor Speedway respectively. He looks to keep that streak alive and add to his 43 career top-10 finishes. 

“We had a top 15 car in our last outing at Michigan, but we were collected in an accident and that unfortunately ruined our day,” Allmendinger said. “This time around we are coming off of a top-five and a top-10 finish in the last two races. We’re looking forward to carrying that momentum into Michigan and putting on a good show for the fans, Kroger, SCOTT Products and all our brands.”
