Kyle Larson visits the Indianapolis Motor Speedway VNR

Kyle Larson, driver of the No. 42 Target Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing and one of NASCAR’s rising stars, visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Tuesday, June 30, in advance of the Crown Royal Presents the Jeff Kyle 400 at the Brickyard on Sunday, July 26.

Larson drove media around the famed 2.5-mile oval in a 1994 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Pace Car from the inaugural Brickyard 400, then visited the Hall of Fame Museum for a tour with IMS historian Donald Davidson and Verizon IndyCar Series driver Scott Dixon, also of Chip Ganassi Racing.

The California native was the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Rookie of the Year. Earlier this year he won the Rolex 24 at Daytona for Chip Ganassi Racing with NASCAR teammate Jamie McMurray and Indianapolis 500 champions Dixon and Tony Kanaan. Larson is 18th in the Sprint Cup standings.
