Still leading the Super Late Models CARS Racing Tour series after four races, Raphaël Lessard, the native of St- Joseph-de-Beauce, is heading to Easley, South Carolina this week, this time to the Greenville Pickens Speedway.
Raphaël Lessard will compete in the fifth race of the CARS SUPER LATE MODEL TOUR 10-race championship at the wheel of his car, the 99 FRL Express/Team Coach Imaging/Toyota/JBL Audio of the David Gilliland Racing Team this Saturday in Greenville County.
In preparation for the race, he will be on track Thursday, June 23rd for an evening of private testing. The SUPER LATE MODEL race is to take place at approximately 8:30 p.m Saturday evening, following the Late Model stock car race. The #99 car will feature its partners, www.trdusa.com and Team Coach Imaging (in Québec: http://www.lettrapub.com), a Beauce company which specializes in fleet signage and digital printing for buses, recreational vehicles, racing haulers and race cars.
The Greenville-Pickens Speedway is one of the oldest NASCAR race track in the USA. From 1946 to 1969 the surface was dirt and it was paved in 1969.” It’s 0.500 miles long (0.805 km).
