Rev Racing Takes on Dominion Raceway

Rev Racing returns to action this Monday at Dominion Raceway for the K & N East ComServe Wireless 150 in Thornburg, Virginia. For all four drivers and teams, Dominion Raceway will serve as a new challenge;  it is the first time they visit the brand-new facility that opened earlier this year.

The team is coming off a solid performance at VIR, where Jario “J.R.” Avila and Ruben Garcia Jr. scored their first top-10 finishes of the season.

“We are coming off a good run at VIR with a seventh place finish. We got some good momentum going and hopefully we can come out with a win at Dominion this weekend,” Avila said. “Good thing we are testing two days before to learn about the track and how we can improve the car to make it faster.”

Teammate Ruben Garcia Jr., who is coming off a career-best 7th place finish at VIR, hopes he can carry on that momentum to Dominion Raceway as well.

“We are really happy with our first top-10 of the year at VIR,” Garcia Jr. said. “I am really excited to be on a new track with tons of grip. We are bringing a new chassis and it should work better, hopefully we can finish with a top-10, or why not a top-5?”

Ali Kern finished 14th at VIR, while recently selected NASCAR Next member of the 2016-2017 class Colin Cabre finished 21st after an accident on lap 44.

Two-lap qualifying for the ComServe Wireless 150 begins at  pm, followed by the on-track autograph session at 12 pm. The race begins at 3pm ET.
