5 Drivers Represent Hometown Team Of BMR At Roseville

Five drivers will represent the hometown team of Bill McAnally Racing when the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West rolls into All American Speedway in Roseville, California on Saturday for the NAPA AUTO PARTS / Toyota 150 presented by Axle Crutch.

 

The BMR team, based just a few miles from the track, will have series regulars Brandon McReynolds and Chris Eggleston joined for the event by three talented young newcomers with varied backgrounds – Eddie Cheever III, Cole Moore, and Blaine Perkins. All three will be making their series debut.

 

Eggleston – a first-year driver from Erie, Colorado – is in the No. 99 NAPA Belts & Hoses/ H2O Fire Protection Toyota. He is locked in a tight battle for the series championship, as he prepares for his first series race at All American Speedway.

 

McReynolds of Mooresville, North Carolina drives the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota. He is sixth in the standings and is looking to break into the top five as the season winds down with the final two races of the year. McReynolds finished third last year in his only previous race at Roseville.

 

Eggleston and McReynolds each have two wins so far this season.

 

Cheever will drive the No. 00 TriCo Toyota. The 22-year-old – who has competed in formula cars in Europe, as well as the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series there – will travel from his home in Rome, Italy. He is the son of former Formula 1 driver and Indy 500 winner Eddie Cheever.

 

Moore, 18, will be in the No. 20 NAPA / JM Environmental Toyota. He is a second-generation racer from Granite Bay, California who is making the transition from racing motorcycles on dirt to racing stock cars. This season he finished third in the overall points as a rookie in the Pacific Challenge Series Late Models.

 

Fifteen-year-old Perkins of Bakersfield, California will wheel the No. 54 NAPA Shocks Toyota. He finished third in the final standings this year in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series late model division at Irwindale (California) Speedway.

 

In addition to being a hometown track, All American Speedway is also a track where BMR has had a strong winning record – with seven victories in 11 series races at the third-mile track since 2008.

 

BMR will shift the weekend in high gear with a special kickoff party and reception at their facilities at 900 Riverside Ave., in Roseville on Friday evening. The VIP event will feature a special driver meet-and-greet.

 

BMR will also provide special rides at the speedway for VIPs in the two-seater NAPA Toyota on Friday and Saturday. NAPA and Toyota are always well represented at the Roseville event; and a large turnout is anticipated at the Wells Fargo Hospitality Corral on Saturday.
