NASCAR’s fastest track will be hosting an appearance by the 2016 Presidential front runner Mr. Donald Trump this week. The Big Mitten Fair and Festival is scheduled to run September 3rd thru the 7th.
This event is the first of its kind blending the fun and excitement of a NASCAR race track environment with the lights, festivities and fun of a state fair. The Big Mitten will host entertainment for the whole family, complete with a kids zone, teen center & skate park, huge midway with fair games and rides, a go cart track, monster truck rides, helicopter rides, concerts with stars like Chris Janson & John Michael Montgomery, great food, giant beer and wine tent with a jumbo screen to watch the games on, employers of skilled trades hiring new employees, special displays by the Armed Forces and Camp Liberty, tons of vendors, a massive car sale and the Race with Rusty Wallace NASCAR experience allowing attendees to take accelerating rides around Michigan International Speedway.
There is a major car and bike show scheduled to take place in the infield on Saturday September 5th which is expected to grow into the single largest one day car/bike show event in the state.
Mr. Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski stated, “We are going to make it happen” however the exact time and date has not yet been released at this point.
