Josh Williams Motorsports To Showcase New Partner Musselman’s In Pocono ARCA 200

Josh Williams Motorsports (JWM) and Team Anya Cale (#BeatLeukemia) are excited to welcome Musselman’s Applesauce as the primary marketing partner of the team’s No. 6 Chevrolet for Saturday’s Pocono ARCA 200 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway.

Musselman’s was founded in 1907 in Biglerville, Pennsylvania by Christian and Emma Musselman. During World War 1 the Musselman’s provided canned goods ranging from corn, tomatoes and apples to servicemen.

Over the next few decades, the Musselman’s Company became a leading brand of apple sauce in American grocery stores and won over generations of families with their “Quality You Can Taste.” Today, the grower-owned cooperative provides a livelihood for nearly 600 farming families.

Promoting the Musselman’s BIG CUP brand, which offers 50% more applesauce in every cup, the Pennsylvania-based company will also return for the ModSpace 125 in August. Additionally, Musselman’s will serve as an associate marketing partner for the remainder of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season.

With three top-10 finishes on the track dubbed the “Tricky Triangle,” Williams who sits second in the championship point standings is hoping his family-owned team can capitalize on a stellar season full of momentum.

“We have one of the best teams in Motorsports right now,” said Williams, whose sixth place effort last June is his best effort in five starts. “Every person involved is part of the JWM family and we’re having a good time putting competitive race cars on the track. Words cannot even express how thankful and honored we are to represent Musselman’s this weekend at Pocono. No doubt, Pocono would be a great place to score our first ARCA win.”

Musselman’s BIG CUP is the only 6-ounce size in the applesauce category and is targeted to health conscious active teens and adults with larger appetites.

“Musselman’s is excited to be a part of the ARCA Racing Series this year in support of Josh Williams and his special campaign. His family owned race team and off track initiatives, especially with Team Anya Cale are right in line with our brand’s goals moving forward and we look forward to a great relationship with a great young talent,” said Kevin Blacker, assistant director of marketing for Musselman’s.

Musselman’s will also be an active partner in the Team Anya Cale (#BeatLeukemia) hospital tour by providing a healthy snack to the kids during those visits throughout the year.

Earlier this season, JWM hosted 5-year old Anya Cale Harvey in the season-opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Last November, she was diagnosed with Leukemia and has undergone treatment since. Their friendship has quickly blossomed with Williams determined to bring awareness to her story and other children battling Leukemia.
