On Thursday afternoon, Roush Fenway Racing’s Ryan Reed will make a quick stop in Boston, before heading to Loudon, New Hampshire for this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Reed will stop at Joslin Pediatrics at Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, to visit with children impacted by diabetes. Joslin Diabetes Center is the world’s largest diabetes research center, diabetes clinic, and provider of diabetes education.
“I’m so appreciative of the opportunities that the American Diabetes Association and Lilly Diabetes give me to interact with children that are going through the exact same things I’ve experienced,” said Reed. “It means a lot to be to be able to tell them that they can manage their diabetes and still accomplish their dreams.”
Later in the afternoon, Reed will head to Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox take on the Chicago White Sox at 4:10 p.m. ET.
