Tyler nestled himself inside the lead draft during the opening segment of the 94-lap, 250 mile race. During the first caution on lap 13, he made a fuel only stop but was tagged for a speeding penalty entering the pits. He restarted outside the top 20 when the race went green on lap 18. Reddick had moved up to sixth place when he made a scheduled green flag stop for four tires and adjustments on lap 47 but once again got zapped for a speeding penalty entering the pit lane. The resulting penalty left him a lap down. But the second caution on lap 59 gave Reddick the chance to wave around back to the lead lap. When the race went green on lap 62, Reddick and teammate Ryan Blaney drafted together and had climbed inside the top five when the third yellow flag slowed the race on lap 67. Reddick was forced to pit for fuel on lap 68 to make it to the end of the race and restarted 15th in line when the race went green on lap 70.
The sixth and final caution on lap 92 set up a green-white-checkered dash to the finish. Reddick restarted 15th in line but found drafting help with Spencer Gallagher on the restart. The duo worked together in the outside line and zoomed through the pack over the final five miles, with Reddick claiming fourth place at the finish line.
